S&P 500 Forecast for Monday, October 4, 2021

Updated: Oct 3, 2022

Overview:

It is a down day. There is some back and forth movement around the open. There is a move to the upside from a low between 9:30am and 10:00am. It has something to do with economic progress or data. Something financial, and the President is involved. The trade opportunity in the pre-market is when it is moving higher. There are multiple failed attempts to break through a resistance level, three to be precise. The first is in the pre-market, and there is another one right before 11:00am, which has something to do with a decision between two leaders.

We have some volatility moving to the downside, and there is a gap. Then we have a drop, but also a high somewhere midday. This will be roughly around noon, and it will be higher. There will be a drop when we meet resistance. Between 1:00pm and 2:00pm, there is a bit of an opportunity, some volatility, and a sharp dip within this period of volatility. This sharp dip comes with another trade opportunity to open some call or long positions. In the last hour there should be some sort of breakout. It won’t be a day’s high. Around the close there will be some rotation with another sharp move to the upside in the post-market.

Looking to Tomorrow:

There is another day of volatility based on the Preview card. There will be an intentional fake out and a sharp move to the upside within a period of volatility.
